Vento Forte

Our Bed & breakfast in Civita, Calabria in the Pollino National Park, was born out of our passion for hiking and nature walks, whether on foot, mountain bike or gravel.

The building that accommodates you, dating back to the early 1900s, has been renovated while maintaining as much of its original structure as possible and using salvaged material where possible.

We have deliberately left some imperfections in the wood, stone masonry and plasterwork, with the aim of not violating the simple, artisanal style of the past.

We took part ourselves, with enthusiasm and pride, in much of the work, such as restoring the old ceiling beams, restoring the original plaster on the walls of the breakfast room, painting the old wooden doors, and planting the garden with typical Mediterranean vegetation and fragrant lavender plants from the famous Lavender Park in Morano Calabro.

At the end of our nature walks in the Pollino National Park you can relax in the relaxation tub sipping herbal tea or enjoy a relaxing sauna in the garden.

The products we serve at breakfast are genuine and from small local producers. Everything you taste exudes a strong territorial identity, your experiential journey begins here, Benvenuti!
